I had a chin implant a few years after my nose job. I would have preferred a jawline enhancement, b ut they were not done very often then. (Doc said there was no way....he was wrong). Anyway, my scar healed so well it could not be seen or felt. BUT....the thing was slightly crooked. No one could really tell but me. It was a tad loose on one side. I can feel it now actually, just sitting here. And no, it's not in my imagination. He went in two more times. The scar after the second surgery was completely unnoticeable. The scar after the third is still there. But it's inside my mouth, so no biggie.

The problem is, it's still slightly crooked. He did not ancor it with screws as some do, and personally, I think he chose one too wide, which means it is having trouble staying down on one side. Someday, when I get the money, I will go somewhere else, even if it means traveling, and have it done right. I am a bit tired of the mild pain, as it slightly bruised inside.

In any event, I recommend it otherwise. I would not have it removed.

The guy did my nose too, and had to go back once. I hsould have known better than to get him to do the chin. I think he is VERY knowledgable, but artistically challenged. I think a cosmetic surgeon needs that right brain thing.
